MIKI HOUSE employees visited Room to Grow to help volunteer at their offices in the South Bronx. Room to Grow supports families raising babies through their unique three year program that provides “essential baby and toddler items, strategies and support to promote their children’s development, and connections to community resources that can meaningfully expand their support network”.
During this visit, MIKI HOUSE employees got an inside look at Room to Grow’s history and operations, and then got to work sorting and organizing donations to prepare them for the families in the program. It was a fun and fulfilling afternoon, and we hope to go back soon!
