The down used in MIKI HOUSE GOLDLABEL’s collection is sourced from White Mother Geese raised on specialized farms in the pristine northern regions of Poland. Waterfowl in this high-latitude region develop exceptional down to endure the extreme temperature fluctuations of harsh winters. Poland, recognized as one of the world’s premier down producers, has dedicated state-run programs focused on improving the quality of down, ensuring that it consistently ranks among the finest globally.
Superior Quality of White Mother Goose Down
The down from these geese features fine and long feather barbs, forming large down clusters known as down balls. These down balls trap a large volume of dead air—stationary air inside the down that plays a crucial role in maintaining warmth—giving the down its superior insulation properties. The result is a material with excellent moisture-wicking, breathability, and resilience.
MIKI HOUSE imports this premium-grade White Mother Goose Down, which is then meticulously processed in Japan. The down is washed multiple times using ultra-soft water with a high antioxidant capacity and plant-based detergents. This extensive cleaning process removes dust, impurities, and oils, creating down that is as clean and odor-free as it is beautiful and hygienic.
Luxurious Outer Fabrics: Original Jacquard Weave
The outer fabric of the GOLDLABEL down jackets is crafted using an original jacquard weave that highlights its lustrous sheen. By using warp and weft threads with different reflective properties, we create a subtle and elegant emblem motif that stands out gracefully against the fabric. Unlike typical printed fabrics where designs are applied on the surface, this jacquard fabric is woven directly into the material using pre-dyed threads, making it resistant to fading and discoloration.
Wrap your child in the ultimate warmth and comfort with our premium down jackets, carefully crafted to withstand the elements while maintaining an elegant appearance that will endure for years to come.
