A Fresh Welcome at Osaka Takashimaya

The renewed MIKI HOUSE store at Takashimaya Osaka

Families exploring Osaka have a renewed place to discover MIKI HOUSE. The brand's Takashimaya Osaka store reopened on June 19, 2026, with more room to browse and an updated layout designed for local families and international visitors.

Located on the department store's sixth floor in Namba, the expanded space brings MIKI HOUSE and DOUBLE_B together, with CHIECO SAKU and a permanent area for GOLD LABEL.

Time to find the right fit

The renewal puts baby-shoe stock closer to the sales floor, helping families move more easily from a foot measurement to trying on shoes. A semi-private consultation area also offers a quieter setting for discovering GOLD LABEL's materials and Japanese craftsmanship.

The store carries products for different seasons to serve visitors traveling from around the world. For parents visiting Japan, it is an opportunity to explore the brand in person and ask questions as their children grow.

More space, more ways to explore

The renewal expanded the sales floor to approximately 127 square meters, about one and a half times its previous size. DOUBLE_B moved from a separate area on the same floor to a position next to MIKI HOUSE, making it easier for families to compare the different brand worlds during one visit.

The Namba location welcomes both local customers and visitors from overseas. Its year-round assortment includes products for seasons opposite to Japan's, reflecting the needs of families returning to different climates.

A closer look at GOLD LABEL

The permanent GOLD LABEL area introduces the brand's premier collection, which brings Japanese artisans' skills together with materials including Sea Island Cotton, cashmere, silk and vicuña. The semi-private setting gives families room for a more considered conversation about the collection.

Service improvements also include keeping baby-shoe stock closer to the selling area, making the process of measuring, trying on and choosing a pair smoother. The Hello Baby Salon reopened on July 1, following the main store's June renewal.

The reopening celebration included a three-month CHIECO SAKU pop-up, announced in June 2026. It brought the collection's distinctive atmosphere into the department store, helping visitors discover another side of MIKI HOUSE while exploring the renewed space.
