A New Flagship for Families in Shenzhen

MIKI HOUSE opened its first South China flagship at MixC Shenzhen Bay on August 8, 2026. The new boutique is the brand's second flagship in mainland China and its seventh worldwide, joining destinations including London, Paris and New York.

Designed around growing children

Inside, families can explore clothing, baby shoes and gifts alongside GOLD LABEL and the imaginative world of CHIECO SAKU. A rocket-shaped foot-measuring device turns a shoe fitting into a playful moment, while staff help parents choose sizes suited to their child's stage of growth.

The store also features a playful fitting room and spaces designed to make shopping enjoyable for children. Staff training developed with the Japan Head Office brings the brand's approach to craftsmanship and family care into the everyday store experience.

A welcome shaped by the local community

The opening brought together MIKI HOUSE President Yoshikatsu Takeda, the Consul-General of Japan in Guangzhou and representatives of the local operating partner for a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Families explored the new boutique, had children's feet measured and stopped for commemorative photographs. In his remarks, Takeda spoke about the brand's founding principle of putting children first and his hope that the store would become part of families' happy memories.

Shenzhen is home to many young families, making the city a meaningful setting for a store built around children's changing needs.

Service is part of the craftsmanship

Before opening, the team completed a structured MIKI HOUSE training program developed with the Japan Head Office. It covered the thinking behind the products, listening to each family's needs and making suitable recommendations. The program was the first of its kind conducted outside Japan.

That preparation supports practical moments in the boutique, from choosing a newborn gift to measuring growing feet. A fitting room inspired by Shenzhen, opening-period family photo activities and specially designed water bottles and coasters added local touches to the experience.

The flagship is located on Level 4 of MixC Shenzhen Bay in Shenzhen, China.
