Family Adventures at Waldorf Astoria Chengdu
MIKI HOUSE and Waldorf Astoria Chengdu in China brought their family-room collaboration back for 2026, following its first run in 2025. Announced for April 1–December 31, the program pairs the hotel's setting with playful details made for young guests.
Seven collaboration rooms were announced, featuring MIKI HOUSE characters Pucchi and Usako. Original bed throws and cushions take inspiration from Chengdu's culture and scenery, bringing a child's sense of discovery into the room.
A child's view of Chengdu
A dedicated play space includes a panda-themed Pucchi, giving the experience a distinctly Chengdu touch. The tent and books make room for children to read and play between outings, with familiar characters connecting the room decor to the rest of the stay.

Character details at the table
The announced experience includes a welcome dessert inspired by Pucchi and Usako, carrying the character details from the room to a shared moment at check-in.

Children's gifts include a mug, trio cutlery set and drawstring pouch. These items were chosen to be useful during family meals and daily routines at the hotel, as well as keepsakes to take home afterward.
A returning collaboration
The original collaboration ran from May through October 2025. After positive feedback from guests, the two teams developed an enhanced version for 2026. At the announcement, hotel General Manager Fabien Gastinel recalled discovering MIKI HOUSE while traveling in Osaka and being impressed by its product design and attention to service.
That introduction helped connect the hotel's approach to hospitality with MIKI HOUSE's attention to children. The resulting experience brings the brand into the spaces where families rest, play and spend time together.
The program applies to specific collaboration rooms at Waldorf Astoria Chengdu. Confirm the applicable room category, current availability, inclusions and booking terms directly with the hotel.
