CHIECO SAKU's Paris Debut
In April 2023, MIKI HOUSE introduced CHIECO SAKU at its Saint-Honoré flagship in Paris. The arrival followed the collection's European debut at Harrods in London, bringing its imaginative world to another fashion destination.
Meet CHIECO
Launched in 2022, CHIECO SAKU is built around a bunny named CHIECO and the freedom of children's imagination. Its storybook themes, distinctive colors and retro-inspired silhouettes offer a playful expression of MIKI HOUSE's Japanese design.
To celebrate the Paris launch, MIKI HOUSE joined an Easter event at the Ritz Paris on April 9, 2023. Families enjoyed a workshop featuring CHIECO's bunny motif, while a special hotel display introduced the collection.
A new chapter on Rue Saint-Honoré
The collection arrived at the Paris flagship on April 1, 2023. At the time, the boutique had represented MIKI HOUSE on Rue Saint-Honoré for 28 years. Adding CHIECO SAKU introduced a newer creative world to a store with a long history of sharing the Japanese brand with Parisian and international families.
London had offered an early European glimpse of the collection, including a Harrods window presentation in October 2022. Paris became its second European retail location. By April 20, 2023, CHIECO SAKU was available at two stores in Europe and 16 in Japan.
A story children could join
CHIECO SAKU launched in August 2022 with a rabbit protagonist whose imagined adventures shape each season's collection. The changing stories bring together silhouettes, color combinations and motifs, giving families a world to explore as well as clothes to choose.
That approach continued at the Ritz Paris Easter gathering. A bunny-themed workshop invited families to participate, while a temporary CHIECO SAKU showcase appeared alongside the hotel's existing GOLD LABEL display. The celebration brought two expressions of MIKI HOUSE together: the artistry of its premium collection and the playful storytelling of its newest brand.
