A Spring Family Stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Osaka
In spring 2026, MIKI HOUSE and The Ritz-Carlton, Osaka created a hotel experience around a simple idea: an outing is more special when the whole family can enjoy it together.
The limited-time MIKI HOUSE Experience Room, themed “A Spring Outing,” was offered from March 1 through May 31, 2026, for one group per day. Inside the suite, a lodge-style tent and a play area with sound-enabled picture books invited children to explore.
Designed for time together
Welcome sweets took inspiration from MIKI HOUSE characters Pucchi and Usako. Take-home items included an Osaka-themed Imabari towel handkerchief, a stainless-steel bottle and a drawstring bag.
The package also offered an in-room dining upgrade and late checkout, giving families more flexibility around meals and a relaxed morning.
A spring outing, indoors
The 2026 experience followed the previous year's collaboration and gave the suite a new seasonal theme. A lodge-style tent created a small place for children to explore, while sound-enabled picture books offered another activity within the room. The combination made space for play during a stay that could also include outings around Osaka.
Pucchi and Usako appeared in the hotel's specially made welcome sweets, carrying the character details from the room experience to the table. Parents and children could enjoy those touches together without leaving the suite.
Local details to take home
The Imabari towel handkerchief featured Pucchi in a design inspired by Osaka's well-known takoyaki. Alongside it, the stainless-steel bottle offered heat and cold retention, and the drawstring bag provided a practical way to carry small essentials. The gifts connected the destination with items families could use after the trip.
The announced package also included an upgrade to in-room dining and checkout until 1 p.m. Those arrangements allowed more flexibility for meals and the following morning. Together with the play area, they show how the collaboration considered the rhythm of a family stay, as well as its decorative details.
